Munster and the Crusaders Rugby will square off in the famous ‘Clash of Champions’ next February at Páirc Uí Chaoimh, the team has revealed.
The province had applied to the GAA for permission to play the New Zealand giants on February 3, 2024. This will be the first-ever match between the URC and the current Super Rugby winners.
The recently crowned BKT United Rugby Championship champions from Ireland revealed in late June that they would play the seven-time Super Rugby championship winners from New Zealand in a blockbuster match. On Friday, they disclosed that they had contacted the Gaelic Games officials to request usage of the Cork stadium.
